Complex Trauma

Complex trauma cases can feel overwhelming while clients may come through in scattered or disorganized ways, making it difficult to know where to begin. These moments often call for a more flexible, integrative EMDR approach that includes attachment, somatic awareness, pacing, and parts-informed work.

This consultation group

This consultation group offers EMDR therapists a supportive space to slow down and explore the challenges of complex cases with thoughtful attention.

Participants will deepen their knowledge on how to:

  • Thoughtfully adapt EMDR standard protocol

  • Strengthen emotional safety in phases 1 & 2

  • Conduct grounded, thorough clinical assessments

  • Determine pacing that supports the client’s system

  • Integrate somatic, attachment, and parts-informed approaches within EMDR therapy
